🎨 ART & CULTURE DAYS 2025 🎨
Our students proudly shared their creativity during two special afternoons of art and culture!
On April 29, classrooms turned into art studios as students worked on projects inspired by Alaska’s land, culture, and traditions. Each grade level created meaningful artwork while trying their best:
• Kindergarten – Alaska Animal Masks
• 1st Grade – Paper Kuspuks
• 2nd Grade – Shadow Silhouettes
• 3rd Grade – Landform and Waterform Paintings
• 4th Grade – Art using recycled tin cans
• 5th Grade – Community Murals
• Middle School – Soapstone Animal Carving Dioramas
• High School – Alaska Native Spirit Masks
On April 30, students participated in a Gallery Walk to observe and appreciate each other’s work.
This celebration was made possible by Ms. Sisa, our SILKAT liaison, and Mr. Paje, the school’s art facilitator.

Tukurngailnguq School Prom 2025 was a night to remember!
The lights were up, the music was loud, everyone was full, and the smiles never stopped. Students danced, laughed, and celebrated together.
Crowning our Prom Princes, Princesses, King, and Queen made the night even more special.
Thank you to the teachers, staff, students, and everyone who helped make it all happen. It’s not the venue, it’s the people who make it great.

Tukurngailnguq School will hold its Prom Night on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from seven in the evening until midnight.
The event is open to high school students in grades nine through twelve and their partners.
The awarding of Prom Prince and Princess for each grade level and the crowning of the Prom King and Queen will be streamed live on the Stebbins School Facebook page.
